Nightshift Punt 2013 – line-up and timetable

Super-double-duper news, as the full line-up and details for this year’s Nightshift Punt festival have been announced today. The Punt is an annual multi-venue Oxford-based gigathon organised by Nightshift magazine, which aims to showcase the best new bands and musicians in local music each year. This year’s event takes place on 8 May.

So here we go – get your diaries out and get planning:

The Purple Turtle

  • 7.00 pm: Phil McMinn
  • 8.00 pm: Candy Says
  • 9.00 pm: Mother Corona
  • 10.00 pm: Nairobi

The Cellar

  • 7.30 pm: Listing Ships
  • 8.15 pm: Duchess
  • 9.00 pm: Agness Pike
  • 9.45 pm: Death Of Hifi

The Wheatsheaf

  • 8.00 pm: Yellow Fever
  • 9.00 pm: Bear Trap
  • 9.45 pm: Empire Divided
  • 10.30 pm: The Goggenheim

The Duke’s Cut

  • 8.15 pm: Ragdoll
  • 9.00 pm: Traps
  • 9.45 pm: The August List
  • 10.30 pm: The Graceful Slicks

The White Rabbit

Cool, right? Lots of excellent stuff going on in that list. You can pay individually to get into each venue during the Punt, but the smart money’s on a Punt Pass, which will get you in everywhere for the whole night. They cost just £8 each are they’re on sale right now from Truck Store, Cowley Road, Oxford, or from the OxfordMusic.net online shop.
