OCM (Oxford Contemporary Music) have just released the August instalment in their ongoing series of live recordings. This time it’s a document of Lukas Ligeti’s performance at the Holywell Music Room in November 2009. It was ‘an inspiring new take on the dialogue between African and Western Music achieved through ingenious use of sampling and music technology’, according to OCM. One cannot possibly argue with that. Sounds good, eh? Get yourself some of it.
