Young Women’s Music Project: writing and recording workshop, live performances

The Young Women’s Music Project, founded by Kate Garrett a decade ago, is running a free lyric writing and recording workshop in Oxford. The two-hour session, aimed at young (11-19 year old) women, will take place from 5.00 pm to 7.00 pm on Saturday 11 September at Fusion Arts, Oxford.

The workshop will provide help and advice including that of No.Lay, a big cheese in the worlds of grime and underground hip-hop. Afterwards, there’ll be a live show with performances from No.Lay along with Mizz Lyrikal, Uneek and Lady Exonic. Entry to the show is just £2!
