We Aeronauts are jetting off to Reykjavik in a couple of weeks, to perform as part of the super-cool annual Iceland Airwaves festival. They’ll be joining a huge, mightily impressive line-up that also includes the likes of Rolo Tomassi, Joy Formidable and a whole host of Icelandic bands with names like Rökkurró and Varsjárbandalagið.
Alongside their main performance they’ll be playing a few ‘fringe’ shows around Rejkjavik, too. All this in advance of a debut EP release from Brainlove Records, which is expected in January or February next year. That’ll compile all of the band’s early recordings; a second EP will follow in mid-2011.
