Mr Fogg, described by the Guardian as ‘Refined pop with modernist electronic tics’, by Q as ‘Sharp, accessible electro-pop’ and by BBC Radio 1’s Huw Stephens as simply ‘Ace ace ace’, has been running a free monthly event at the upstairs bar of Phoenix Picturehouse in Oxford, to showcase musicians he’s worked with, or feels a personal affinity for.

September’s show saw a solo oud performance by Tarik Beshir, and was packed to capacity. Thursday 7 October will see hotly-tipped electronica artist Ital Tek visiting the cinema bar – the Planet Mu-signed producer has released two albums, worked with Ikonika and Skream, and played live across Europe. Ital Tek remixed Mr Fogg’s ‘Stung’ single, which was released in August.

November’s event will featured Liverpool-based ambient electronica types Capac, along with an acoustic set from Mr Fogg. Capac and Mr Fogg crossed paths recently at both a Huw Stephens show in London and a Radio 1 recording session at Maida Vale.
