BBC Introducing in Oxford, 26/02/2011 show details – Secret Rivals interview and more

BBC Introducing in Oxford is just like Spotify. That is, if Spotify didn’t have adverts every couple of tracks. And if it carefully selected an excellent cross-section of Oxford music for you each week. And if it had a cool presenter to tie everything together and carry out interesting interviews with the likes of Secret Rivals. And if Spotify could be listened to on the radio. Except for those types of things, they’re identical. We love Spotify. We also love BBC Introducing in Oxford.

Here’s the full track listing for the show. You can listen to it from 6.00 pm on Saturday 26 February at BBC Oxford.

I highly recommend readers of site tune in to Tom Robinsons Fresh On The Net this week, Tom asks some funny questions and brings up some funny points regarding MIO and the Mile High Young Team (?)
    tune in!

Ooh! What does he say, and have you got any idea when he says it? As an MiO contributor, former member of MHYT and occasional listener to the FOTN podcast I’m very interested, but there are two 2hr FOTN shows on this week in the small hours of the weekend and any pointers to narrow down the bits of interest would be much appreciated.

Heh fret ye not we were of course very diplomatic (shy?) heh.
Toms questions on rivals thoughts on ‘Mile High Young Team’ (dont worry we were nice as pie) thers a fair bit of dissection of MIO quotes as well. (he really did swat up!)

Not what we expected to be asked about but should make interesting hearing for locals?

Tom mentioned on air how UTE got a kicking from Colin an all (not to long before they were invited on toms show )…its amazing to me that Colins rep proceeds him to the point 6music are aware of his ‘work’…jokes (well played slasher!)
No shaprpened daggers or old grudges or anything like that just thought it was funny (Our recent BBC interview questioned us on our thoughts on ‘that MIO review’ its turned out to be a bit of a turning point topic for us….jokes ennit.

Tonight Matthew is of course played an all
TM should get its debut BBC 1 play in the next week or 2 an all (big thanks to Rob Da Bank for this)
