Cornbury Festival 2011 – what the punters thought

Did you go to Cornbury Festival this year? Were you there to see James Blunt, Sophie Ellis Bextor, Deacon Blue or, like a more sane and hearing-enabled person, one of the Oxford acts that played, like Little Fish, Bellowhead, The Anydays, Deer Chicago, The Rock Of Travolta, and so on?

Regardless, and in spite of our music-based jibes, whatever you were there for, perhaps you had a good time? If so, the guys from a thing called WinkBall (‘Communicate Happiness’, their tagline says) may have captured you on film as they wandered about getting crowd reactions over the three days of the event.

    Cornbury Bands i saw were in the Campsite Stage and bar on friday night `Jake Hall` and band were brilliant !                    also `The Lovebirds` were great ! Saturday Night `Mr B the Gentleman Rhymer` was Jolly def and rocked the house !                 then on Sunday Night `Monastic Trio bravely played to a small audience as there was much main stage activity.                       througout the DJ`s were keeping it all moving….
