The folks at Ark-T, Oxford’s centre for developing the creative arts, have arranged a songwriting and music industry workshop on Friday 15 July. The session, which runs from 5.00 pm to 7.00 pm and costs £5, will be hosted by Richard Walters, who’ll be passing on knowledge and tips. As Richard is long-regarded as one of Oxford’s best songwriters, and he’s been an active, successful musicians for some years, this should be a fine opportunity to get some good advice.
The session will be followed up with a live performance from Richard Walters, alongside further guests to be announced. The show will start at 7.30 pm and run until 10.00 pm, and cost £2 unless you attend the workshop, in which case it’ll be free.
The whole shebang takes place at the Ark-T Centre, Crowell Road, Oxford OX4 3LN. There’s a page for it up on Facebook, containing more information and contact details.
