A couple of new releases are on their way from two local labels, Big Scary Monsters and Blindsight Records.

Parrot Flies is the second album from Algernon Cadwallader, and it’s out in August on Big Scary Monsters. They’re offering it on both CD and vinyl, the latter a limited edition of 300 solid black records, and 200 transparent blue. It’s available now to pre-order from Big Scary Monsters for only £8, or £12 with an Algernon Cadwallader t-shirt, if you’re that way inclined.

Blindsight Records has a new split EP out in early September, featuring four tracks from Caretaker and Undersmile. That’ll be nice and noisy, then, and £4 pre-orders for the limited edition CD release can be made at Blindsight Records.
