London Poetry Systems, a collective that creates and curates poetry-related events, is staging a night of music, poetry and visuals at the Cellar in Oxford, on Tuesday 26 July. The unique event, Lemon Coloured Gloves, runs from 8.00 pm to 11.00 pm and costs £5. It will combine the music of Tamara and the Martyrs and Taran Singh’s jazz/poetry improv ensemble with the poetry of Caroline Bird. There will also be visuals provided by local video maker Adam Pelling-Deeves, and Bunny from The Original Rabbit Foot Spasm Band playing 30s/40s jazz in between sets.
