Roppongi, the ‘chic, luxurious lounge and club’ situated on Oxford’s George Street, have started up a couple of weekly musical events. On Tuesday evenings from 7.00 pm to 10.00 pm, the band Next Level will be playing live jazz and blues music. Entry is free and, it says here, there are happy hour drink deals all night, as well as a free shot with your first drink.

Every Wednesday evening the venue plays host to an open mic/karaoke night. Free entry once again, and the same drink deals as mentioned above, so why not rock up and embarrass yourself – or, indeed, wow the crowds – with a bit of half-cut karaoke, or a performance of your own material?
