Oxford reggae types Dubwiser have a new album coming out in September. A Crack In Paradise will be released on Crash Records, and contains sixteen tracks from the band whose members have previously worked with Lee ‘Scratch’ Perry, Madness and The Mad Professor. The album is produced by Spider Johnson, whose recent credits include Kila Kela’s Elocution, and who also co-wrote ‘Original Nuttah’ by UK Apache, if you remember that.
There are a few live dates lined up in late August and early September, including a show at Oxford’s Cellar on 3 September.
There’s a track from the album, ‘Ride Your Life Like A Bicycle’, now streaming on the Dubwiser website.
