ute release a new digital single ‘Brother’ on 15 August. As well as the eponymous lead track it also features a reworking of ‘Brother’ featuring Oxford Hearts Ensemble – aka a variety of local musicians including Blessing Force people and members of Spring Offensive and Gunning For Tamar – along with a remix by Gunning For Tamar. It’s available to stream right now on SoundCloud, and the official release will see a special, limited ‘photo album’ edition including images of the Oxford Hearts Ensemble recording session.

There are also a couple of ute festival appearances over the next couple of weeks. This weekend (13/14 August) they appear at Wilderness Festival at Cornbury Park, and on 21 August – at 6.15 pm precisely – they’ll be on the Pub Stage at Green Man in the Brecon Beacons.
