A new multi-venue indoor festival based in East Oxford, Ley Lines, is lined up to take place on Saturday 15 October. The event promises 15 hours of live music in a variety of venues including O2 Academy Oxford, the Bullingdon Arms and The Old Boot Factory. The organisers also hint that there will be non-musical entertainments as well, such as workshops, music classes and sessions, talks, stalls and exhibitions.
Ley Lines is being set up by DHP, whose track record alongside lots of Oxford gigs includes the Dot To Dot festival in Manchester, Nottingham and Bristol. Whilst they’re being cagey about the artists that’ll be taking part in Ley Lines, previous Dot To Dot line-ups suggest there will be some good stuff, as they include We Are Scientists, And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead, Guillemots and Fixers.
If you’re willing to take an early punt on a festival that’s yet to announce its line-up, early bird tickets are now being sold for just £10. Once they’re gone, the price will be £15. Keep up to date with announcements either at the Ley Lines website or on Twitter.
