Mates & Dates is a dating and friendship service for adults with learning disabilities in Oxfordshire. As they’re a charity, recent funding cuts have meant their future hangs in the balance, which is why they’ve organised a fund-raising gig at the O2 Academy Oxford, taking place on 1 October.

The event has The Black Tears and This Elegant Chaos lined up so far, with another act to be announced. It’ll cost £10 to get in, and that’ll include free entry to the Propaganda club taking place after the live music finishes. All of the profit will go straight to Mates & Dates, to hopefully save them from having to shut down, hence the name of the gig – ‘Save Mates & Dates’.
