New releases from Alcopop! Records

A flurry of activity from Alcopop! Records, as they’ve announced four new releases either out now or in the very near future. Scotland’s LightGuides unleash their debut mini-album Samba Samba Samba – “ideal for fans of The Xcerts and Biffy”, it says here – on MP3, CD and also as a special CD deal that includes a band t-shirt. Jumping Ships, recent tour companions to LightGuides, have a new EP out in September, and there’s a free teaser track available on the Alcopop! website.

‘threEPeople’ is a three-track CD containing songs by Katie Malco, Matt Emery (of Stagecoach) and Warren Mallia (of The Attika State) – a limited edition of 100, each in a unique hand-painted sleeve.

Finally, as recently reported, ute’s latest single ‘Brother’ is out now, including its special ‘photo album’ version, which contains unique pictures taken from the recording of a special version of ‘Brother’ featuring a host of Oxford’s musical talent.

Everything’s available in the Alcopop! shop, and remember to check out that free Jumping Ships track on the Alcopop! homepage.
