It’s not purely a music event – y’know, there’s more to life than music sometimes – but the Thame Arts & Literature Festival, taking place from 14 to 16 October at a variety of locations in Thame, looks like a rather refined event with at least a couple of music-related aspects.
Alongside a variety of literature and arts-related talks, plays, discussions and events, you can avail yourself of a tea concert (“a celebration of autumn through music, poetry and cake” – nice), and performances by Coull Quartet, Crendon Chamber Orchestra and Thame Chamber Choir.
The events are individually priced, and full timetables and details are available from the website for the festival.
