Here’s a nice thing. Fans of Message To Bears, whose Departures we called “a magnificent piece of modern-day musical impressionism”, have been contributing funds through an IndieGoGo page in order to pay for the pressing of a couple of new releases by the band.

At the time of writing, just over half of the $4,000 fundraising goal has been built up. Once the total is raised, it will fund not only a CD and vinyl repressing of Message To Bears’ out of print debut ‘EP1′, but also the release of a brand new album, Folding Leaves. Contributors can pick from a variety of amounts to donate, and most get something in return – anything from a copy of one of the releases to a song written just for the contributor!
