Singer/songwriter Khamsina, who has been variously compared to Bat For Lashes, Kate Bush and Björk, has released a single, ‘Stop!’, to raise money and awareness for the charity Stop The Traffik.

Khamsina has supported the charity for some time, and wrote the song in order to “tell people that closing your eyes is not an option”. Stop The Traffik’s aim is clear from their tagline, ‘People Shouldn’t Be Bought & Sold’ – they’re a global coalition that since 2006 has been battling human trafficking across the world.

‘Stop’ is available from a variety of online stores including iTunes and Amazon, as well as being available in a physical, hand-made edition from Khamsina’s website. If the song’s not for you, you can still support the cause by donating through a JustGiving page that’s been set up.
