Truck Store aren’t moving, as we’ve reported before – and so they continue not only to operate as a fantastic shop, but also as an occasional venue. Saturday 22 October, for example, will see a free in-store acoustic performance, starting at 2.00 pm, from North Sea Radio Orchestra. Free live music! In a shop! From where you can buy music with the money you saved because the live music is free!

Later on the same day, the full North Sea Radio Orchestra experience will be available to experience at the lovely St Michael at the North Gate church in central Oxford. That’ll cost £7, and tickets are available here. Uncut magazine called the band “impeccably elegant and genuinely lovely”, if that helps.
