Here’s a gig that snuck outside of the remit of our recent October Oxjam events in Oxfordshire news story, by its taking place in November and therefore making it difficult to include without the ability to use such a pleasingly alliterative headline.

On Friday 4 November at the O2 Academy 2, Oxford, there’s a very nice selection of bands performing live to raise money for Oxfam. Message To Bears, The Scholars and ToLiesel make up the Oxford band contingent – and a high quality contingent it is too – and they’re joined by outsiders in the form of The Dufflefolks. Tickets are £6, available on the door or in advance here, and it all kicks off at 7.00 pm. Make the outsiders feel welcome. Give ’em an Oxford smile.
