Footie! Music! Footie! Music! It seems that a lot of folks are fans of both of these things, suggesting some kind of unholy combination thereof, perhaps resulting in a new word like Fusic or Mootie. Convenient, then, that Patrick Kevin Francis Michael Nevin – aka Pat Nevin (thanks, Wikipedia), who has played in the past for Clyde, Chelsea, Everton and more, will be a special guest DJ slot at the monthly indie/Motown/electronica club Progressively Less Elephant on Friday 18 November.
“Why’s that good?” you may ask. Well, Nevin has a number of musical caps, having demonstrated a rich and diverse set of musical tastes with DJ slots up and down the country, including appearances at the pre-All Tomorrows Parties festival Bowlie as well as top London indie-pop club How Does It Feel To Be Loved. So it promises to be an interesting night.
Progressively Less Elephant takes place at Baby Love Bar in Oxford centre, once a month. Pat Nevin will be DJing on Friday 18 November; the club runs from 11.00 pm to 3.00 am, and it’s just £4 to get in. Find out more here.
