Brap! Brap! Here comes the new Nightshift, hitting the stands – both virtual and real – as we speak. It’s available in shops and venues throughout Oxfordshire as well as in a downloadable form.
This month there’s an interview with The Cellar Family, Nightshift‘s tracks of 2011, all of the news from the local music scene, and reviews of new releases from Fixers, Crozer Brothers, Alphabet Backwards, Listing Ships and Deer Chicago. There are loads of live reviews including Audioscope Festival, and a comprehensive round-ups of gigs for the month. There’s an introduction to Deer Chicago, a look back at what was going on in Oxford music five, ten and twenty years ago, and this issue’s Demos section has Damn Vandals as the demo of the month and Clepsydra in the Demo Dumper.
