Seabuckthorn, whose last album In Nightfall we called “a stunning piece of art”, has been asked to play at a festival in Marseille, which is taking place between 8 and 21 December.
Festival Nuit D’Hiver #9 is run by GRIM, or Groupe de Recherche et d’Improvisation Musicales, and as well as Seabuckthorn – who performs on 20 December – the line-up includes Nisennenmondai and a selection of weird and wonderful improv artists. If you’re not planning on popping over to France during Christmastime, there will apparently be an audio broadcast of Seabuckthorn’s performance on Quadrivium Radio.
