Is it still fair to refer to Graham Coxon as ‘ex-Blur’, seeing as he’s been holding down a perfectly respectable solo career for quite some time now? Who knows. Let’s do it anyway.

Ex-Blur guitarist Graham Coxon swings by Oxford’s O2 Academy on 13 April, on the first date of a national tour to promote his new album A+E, which is due out in early April. So far, so another-gig-that’s-going-on-in-town. This one has an interesting twist, though, as Coxon will be selecting a local act for each of the tour dates.

Bands and musicians who want to be in with a chance can nominate themselves by visiting Coxon’s website and providing a link to a YouTube video. As the blurb on his website says, “…the final decision lies with Graham”. You have been told!
