This year’s Audiograft festival, Oxford’s annual jamboree of contemporary music and sound art, takes place from 27 February to 4 March 2012. Curated by Oxford Brookes University’s Sonic Art Research Unit, Audiograft comprises a series of exhibitions and performances from both local and non-local musicians and artists.

Included in this year’s presentations are a performance of John Cage’s Cartridge Music, a gig by the highly renowned composer Trevor Wishart, and exhibitions by a wide variety of sound artists. Events take place across several venues including Modern Art Oxford, the Old Fire Station, Oxford Brookes University, Holywell Music Room and the Jacqueline du Pré Music Building.
Some of this year’s events require advance booking, and tickets for all are now on sale for very reasonable prices (we’re talking around the free-to-three-quid mark here).
