Colourful psych-nutjobs Fixers are to release their debut album We’ll Be The Moon on 14 May, and it’ll be preceded by the re-release of ‘Iron Deer Dream’ which comes out on 11 March. After a pretty successful 2011, ending with the almost universal acclaim for their ‘Imperial Goddess Of Mercy’ EP – read our review here – it looks like Fixers will continue on the up and up this year.
The band are heading out on tour with the Kaiser Chiefs in February, taking in venues across the country, but with no Oxford date yet set. But we won’t hold that against them, as they’ve also announced dates for a May tour in support of the album, which will include a show at O2 Academy Oxford on 17 May.
Anybody that ‘likes’ Fixers on Facebook right now can also download a free track, ‘Trans Love’.
