Those lovely folks at Truck Store on Oxford’s Cowley Road have a clutch of in-store performances lined up for February. If you’re near the shop on Wednesday 1 February, swing by at around 6.00 pm to see an exclusive set from the recently-signed-to-EMI To Kill A King, who sound like this:

On 10 February its the first anniversary of Truck Store, so there’s a whole weekend of funtertainment on the cards:

Friday 10 February has Danny And The Champions Of The World in the early evening. Saturday 11 February from 1.00 pm you can check out The Yarns, Kill Murray, Deer Chicago, Gunning For Tamar, Dreaming Spires and Trevor Moss & Hannah-Lou. Then on Sunday 12 February from midday there will be Nick Cope, Jess Hall, Spring Offensive (acoustic) and James Vincent McMorrow.

All of the above are free shows, and on 11/12 February they’ll be serving beer in the shop, so pop along, listen to some good music and buy some records. Or CDs. Or MP3s. Or Space Pellets or however music is packaged these days.
