Banbury’s Aurora J Young, a rich-voiced singer/songwriter who’s been compared to Norah Jones and Beth Gibbons, will release her debut single ‘Charmer’ on 12 March, through iTunes, Spotify and Amazon. The release will be marked with an acoustic set on 15 March at Banbury’s Also Known As bar, and Young also plays The Bullingdon in Oxford on 29 February and Fat Lil’s in Witney on 7 March.

Young has also been made a 2012 ‘Featured Artist’ by ACS, or Advanced Communication Solutions – who produce hearing protection and in-ear monitor systems. This means that she’ll be blogging regularly on their website about her musical endeavours throughout the year, along with other musicians such as Lily Allen and Kaiser Chiefs.
