Traps

Traps win Oxfordshire heat of Majick Music’s Battle Of The Bands

The national Battle Of The Bands competition being run by Majick Music, after running local heats throughout Oxfordshire in February, had its Oxford final at the O2 Academy, Oxford on 7 April.

Well done to Traps who won the judges’ vote, beating strong contenders in Quiet For The Speaker (who took second place), Ioneye, Sonus and Erica. Sonus took the crowd vote. Traps win a variety of promotional gubbins including t-shirts, a banner, equipment vouchers and more, and also get a place on the ‘Hijack Tour’ that will visit venues across the country. They also win a spot at a national showcase that takes place later in the year at Marshall HQ in Milton Keynes and if they’re picked from that, they’ll get some custom-made Marshall amps just for them!
