‘Turl Street Tales’ – a new singer/songwriter night launching at Turl Street Kitchen

Award-winning Australian singer/songwriter Kate Fuller, just relocated to Oxford from America, is launching ‘A Night of Singing, Songwriting and Storytelling’ at Oxford’s Turl Street Kitchen on 16 May. The free monthly night, hosted by Fuller, will invite singers and songwriters from Oxford to perform. Fuller says “Turl Street Tales will celebrate the power of storytelling through song, exposing Oxford’s abundant young folk scene in an intimate, speakeasy-style setting”.

The first night will run from 10.30 pm to 12.30 am on Wednesday 16 May, and feature acoustic folk from Elliott James, ‘Barefoot Busker’ John Ruddock and a performance from Fuller herself.
