Celebrate ‘A Right Royal Ruckus’ with music all day at Port Mahon, Oxford on 9 June

The kind and generous folk behind the monthly Chillum live music afternoons at Cafe Tarifa in Oxford have set up an all-day shindig that’s taking place on Saturday 9 June. ‘A Right Royal Ruckus’ – as 9 June is the Queen’s official birthday, dontchaknow – runs from 2.00 pm until 12.30 am at the Port Mahon in Oxford.

There are still some acts to be added, but right now the bill looks like this:

  • MC Lars
  • Half Decent
  • Smilex
  • The Courtesy Kill
  • We Are Goose
  • Billy Ray Cypher
  • Matt Midgely
  • Ben Phillips

That’s nice, isn’t it? Pop along and sink a beer or two for Queenie whilst listening to some music. Tickets are £5 in advance or £7 on the door, and there’s more information on the event’s Facebook page.

The organisers have even assembled a bizarro animated ad for the event:
