Remember the ‘Record and Ride’ project mentioned here a couple of months ago – sound engineer and cyclist Nicholas O’Brien embarking on an epic bike ride throughout Europe, and getting involved in music and sound recording along the way? Well, it’s been going well, and O’Brien will be heading back to Oxford in September.

Since April O’Brien has made his way through France, Belgium, The Netherlands, Germany, Poland, Croatia and Greece, and just finished a leg of the journey that’s taken him to Israel. After a couple of weeks in Israel it’ll be off to Edinburgh, where he’s helping The Deck Theatre Company with a show called Pinch In Love. After that, the cycling – and recording – continues with a final jaunt down the country and back to Oxford.
