BBC Introducing in Oxford

BBC Introducing in Oxford, 26/08/2012 show details – lots of music and more

“Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance To The Radio”, as Joy Division once urged us to do. “Gonna Drive Past The Stop’n’Shop, With The Radio On”, as Jonathan Richman and the Modern Lovers once informed us. There’s a thesis to be written about the radio in popular culture, perhaps. And also one to be written about the pointless use of capitalisation in the first sentence in this paragraph. But we digress. Here’s the skinny on this week’s BBC Introducing in Oxford show, which is heavy on the musical diversity and should provide an excellent bit o’ radio entertainment over the forthcoming bank holiday weekend. “Radio – Someone Still Loves You!” as Queen put it.

Here’s the full track listing for the show. You can listen to it from 9.00 pm on Sunday 26 August at BBC Oxford.
