Nightshift, September 2012

Nightshift – September 2012 issue out now, with Secret Rivals interview and more

It’s that time when a new issue Nightshift hits the streets (both literal and metaphorical) (not sure what that meant). It’s available both online and at venues, shops and pubs throughout Oxfordshire.

This month’s cover feature is an interview with pop cheeksters Secret Rivals. There’s the usual news from the local music scene, as well as reviews of new releases from Mr ShaoDow, The Dots And Stops, Toliesel, Yellow Fever, A Silent Film and Andrew Milloy. Sort your social life out for the month with a comprehensive gig guide, and read about what you did last month with live reviews covering Wilderness Festival, Supernormal Festival and loads more. There’s an introduction to Toliesel, a look back at what was going on in Oxford music five, ten and twenty years ago, and the usual two-page Demo reviews section. Demo of the month is Trev Williams, in the Demo Dumper is Blue Moon Train.
