We’re sure that we once referred to Richard Walters as a ‘honey-voiced troubadour’ and, well, that works, so we’ll stick with it. The lovely-larynxed fellow (dammit, we didn’t stick with it, did we?) has just released a new video for ‘The Escape Artist’, a track from his next album Regret Less, which is due for release on 15 October. It was filmed at Oxford’s Safehouse Studios, and is a rather nice piece that’s all about the delicate interplay of light and darkness: much like Walters’ music, you see. Like the best things in life, it’s artful and a little bit spooky.
