Alphabet Backwards, whose fantastic debut album Little Victories was released at the start of this month, have released a video to accompany their latest single ‘Ladybird’. The video is a collaboration between Sarah Hoyle, who has provided artwork for Alphabet Backwards’ releases so far (as well as for other Oxford bands like Gunning For Tamar) and stop-frame animator Jenny Penny.

After a hectic few months of touring and gigging Alphabet Backwards are taking it a bit easier for the remainder of the year, although they have a couple of London gigs lined up including their label Highline Records’ Christmas party at the Lexington on 25 November. Highline Records are also planning to release a Christmas album, and Alphabet Backwards will be contributing to this in the form of their own Christmas single!

As frontman James told us: “It’s been a fun old year”.
