Oxford’s hard rock and grunge influenced Dropout, who have been ploughing a noisy musical furrow since 2002, have announced that their singer Robin will be leaving the band, after deciding to relocate away from the area. Dropout’s recent show as part of the hugely successful Oxjam Oxford Takeover gigs in October was the last to feature Robin on vocals.
The band are now after a new singer and, as they describe, “don’t mind whether it’s a man or a woman, it’s more important that they can sing, are reliable, committed and open-minded as we all contribute to the song writing. A love of rock would be good as we don’t really do quiet and strummy.”
