As the nights grow dark and we all settle in to an ever-more relaxed pace of life in the lead-up to Christmas, summer festival organisers up and down the country seem to be springing into action with plans and ideas. So it is with Cornbury Festival, which will take place on 5-7 July 2013 at Great Tew Park near Charlbury, Woodstock and nestled comfortably in the Cotswoldian rolling countryside.
As 2013 will be the tenth year that Cornbury Festival has been taking place, the organisers plan to invite back some of the favourite acts that have played over the past decade, and will be asking the well-informed public to vote on who they think should be playing.
There’ll be more going on than just music, too, with the promise of the Absolute Radio Comedy Tent, something called the QI Emporium, and endless opportunities for dancing, getting massages, taking part in workshops, eating nice food, and so on and so forth.
The ticket prices for Cornbury Festival 2013 are to be £150 per adult for the weekend (including camping), or £125 without camping. There are also a variety of options for kids and young person tickets. Those prices are for early bird tickets, which are available from 29 November on a limited basis. These include up to a £35 reduction per ticket price, which ain’t to be sniffed at.
The Cornbury Festival website is the place to focus on to grab those early bird tickets, and will also contain full details of the line-up plans as they are revealed.
