Traps double A-side single out 8 December

According to their own Facebook page, Traps are “like Juliette and the Licks meeting PJ Harvey at the meat counter in Waitrose”. If that uncomfortable image isn’t descriptive enough, you can check out their music for real with a double A-side single that they have slated for release on 8 December.

The tracks on the single are to be ‘I Won’t Crawl’ and ‘Stop The Machine’, and it’ll be available in physical form (ie, CD) as well as via fancy electronic means such as Spotify and iTunes. They’re playing a couple of gigs on the day of the single’s release – firstly at Oxford’s Truck Store at 6.00 pm, and then at the Wheatsheaf in Oxford from around 8.00 pm. The in-store will be free, the Wheatsheaf gig will cost an amount of money that’s yet to be shared.

Keep up at the back by visiting the Traps website and/or their Facebook page.

Here’s a bit of mondo video capturing the recording of the single tracks at Safehouse Studios:

That’ll be a fiver then! And great value for money as there are five acts.
    The bill is as follows:

    Headcount
    Space Heroes of the People
    Beaver Fuel
    Traps
    Laima Bite

This is Headcount’s only gig of the year to my knowledge. First act is at 8pm.
