Second Witney Winter Festival to take place on Sunday 16 December

Arranged by the entrepreneurial fellows of the band Black Hats, Witney Winter Festival is an not-quite-but-nat-for-off-a-full-day event held at Fat Lil’s, Witney, to enjoy the music of some of the best Oxford/Witney bands and musicians. It’s also an opportunity, of course, to spend the day in a nice pub with some decent people.

Last year’s Witney Winter Festival (read our review here) went well, and this year’s promises more of the same with a line-up that includes The Scholars, Very Nice Harry, Player 2, Yellow Fever, Robots With Souls, Matt Midgley and, of course, Black Hats themselves.

The event runs from 5.00 pm until 10.30 pm on Sunday 16 December at Fat Lil’s, which can be found on Corn Street in Witney. There are no advance tickets, so get there early. The entry fee is a bargainous £3. That means less than 50 pence per band! Result.

There’s a Facebook event here, so you can keep up with anything important that you might need to know about the festival.

Not on Facebook? Gawd ‘elp us. Surely everybody is on Facebook by now?
