Embracing the Christmas spirit with a warm, eggnog-fuelled fervour, Alphabet Backwards are releasing a Christmas single on Monday 3 December.

‘Dearest Santa’ follows a couple more singles and the Little Victories album released earlier this year – read our review of the album here (“their twee, fun, poptastic sound can’t help but make you smile”) – and it marks the end of a busy year for the band, who have been plugging away with gigs, records and songwriting with impressive dedication.

Ex-BBC chap Tim Bearder (now digging into the world of politics) and Grudle Bay’s Tom Hodges helped Alphabet Backwards put together a brilliant animated video to accompany the ‘Dearest Santa’ single, which you can see below. What do you think?
