Toliesel go a bit Beatles with cover of ‘Dear Prudence’

Here’s a nice thing. Remember last October, we reported on BBC celebrations of ‘Beatles Day’, and how several Oxford bands were contributing covers of Beatles songs to mark the occasion?

Well, Oxford’s Toliesel have now got their chiming, cheery cover of ‘Dear Prudence’ up on YouTube, and say that they’re “really proud of it, and have been keen to share it ever since”. A bit later in the year, they’ll be releasing the song through iTunes, and all proceeds from sales will be donated to charity.

If you’re keen to check ’em out live, Toliesel will be supporting “hotly tipped UK five-piece” Brother & Bones at The Jericho in Oxford on 1 March. More about that here.
