Safehouse Studio ‘CCTV Sessions’ – featuring exclusive Foals tracks

Safehouse Studio, the Oxford-based recording and rehearsal studio that has been the location of recording sessions with the likes of Limbo Kids, Trophy Wife and Kill Murray, have kicked off a new project, the ‘CCTV Sessions’.

The project will capture live sessions from local and non-Oxford bands via the unique medium of CCTV footage taken at the studio. Safehouse have hooked up with the BBC Introducing radio show, who will be broadcasting some of the tracks, and they’ll also be sharing video footage through their own website.

Things have started in impressive fashion with two exclusive session recordings by Foals, featuring two tracks from their just-released album Holy Fire: ‘Milk & Black Spiders’ and ‘Late Night':

The sessions were engineered and mixed by Kit Monteith, Trophy Wife’s drummer and the owner of Safehouse.

Check out the Safehouse Studio website for future recordings – including a couple more from Foals that will be released soon – as well as more details about Safehouse.
