It’s that most wonderful of times; the time of the month when a new Nightshift plops its way onto our collective doormat/inbox/web browser/shop/etc. As usual, it’s a great read, and should satisfy All Of Your Oxfordshire Music Print Mag needs. It’s available both online and at venues, shops and pubs throughout Oxfordshire.
This month’s cover feature is an interview with the inventive and idiosyncratic The Goggenheim. There’s also a whole load of news from the local music scene, as well as reviews of new releases from Stornoway, Co-pilgrim, DB Band, The Reaper, Maeve Bayton and Dallas Don’t. There are scores of live music events listed in the comprehensive gig guide, and you can read about good stuff gone by with live reviews including Stornoway, Bellowhead and loads more. There’s an introduction to The Reaper, a look back at what was going on in Oxford music five, ten and twenty years ago, and the usual two-page Demo reviews section. Demo of the month is from Bear Trap, in the Demo Dumper is Rushil.
