Following their recent new album release A Fairer Sea, Co-pilgrim will release a new single on 25 March. ’22’, the first track from the album, will be backed with non-album track ‘Come Out Alive’, and it’s to be released by Battle Worldwide Recordings.
The single, like the album, blends the rich harmonic vocal style of Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young with the sunny invention of Beach Boys and a touch of 90s alt-indie à la Built To Spill. It’s already been receiving airplay from BBC Radio 6 Music and plaudits like “Marries Jayhawks harmonies to wafting Beach Boys tunes” (Q) and “A swoonsome slice of Americana” (God Is In The TV).
