This is the second EP from Limbo Kids, not named after a rather unpleasant part of Reading (but let’s face it, what part of Reading isn’t…) but instead after Robert Griffin III, (apparently) a young NFL quarterback sensation. Touchdown!
From their info: “the 3 tracks were recorded in Limbo Kids’ loft studio and self-produced by Limbo Kids (James Hitchman and Mark Stephenson). The EP once again shows the duo’s love for pop melodies, with atmospheric layers of sound often punctuated by disco inspired beats.
Limbo Kids play the Nightshift Punt tomorrow night (8 May) – they’re at The White Rabbit at 8.30 pm. They also play the Jericho Tavern in Oxford on 11 May – along with Grudle Bay they are supporting the typographically-specific M A U S I.
