Hurrah, huzzah and yahoo, it’s that excellent time of the month when the new issue of Nightshift makes itself known. This month’s edition is jam-packed with the good stuff, and it’s out now, available both online and at pretty much all good places you can think of throughout Oxfordshire.
This month’s cover feature is an interview with Desert Storm. There is lots of news from the local music scene, and reviews of new releases from Spring Offensive, Huck & The Xander Band, Ags Connolly, The Relationships, Little Blood, Flights Of Helios and Salvation Bill. There are lots of gigs in the comprehensive gig guide, and you can read about what’s already happened with live reviews including Foals and lots more. There’s an introduction to Beta Blocker And The Body Clock, a look back at what was going on in Oxford music five, ten and twenty years ago, and the usual two-page Demo reviews section. Demo of the month is from Halber Mensch, in the Demo Dumper is King Kong Man.
