Applications are now open for Boom 2015, Oxford Contemporary Music (OCM)’s new professional development opportunity for music/sound practitioners and producers.
The scheme offers support for practitioners and producers who are interested in creating and presenting inspiring music or sound based work in the public realm (including digital), in unconventional spaces and outdoors, in order to reach large and diverse audiences. Boom residencies with OCM will enable practitioners and producers to lead their own development, research or training programme over one year with no expectation of specific outcomes beyond the evidence of real and effective learning in their practice and profession.

Applications should be submitted by midday on Monday 19 January 2015, and shortlisted applicants will be invited to attend an interview in Oxford in the week commencing 16 February 2015. The Boom residencies will begin on 1st April 2015.
