Here’s the debut EP from Anna Zed, a Greek-British solo artist and composer. She describes her sound as electro-acoustic; combining acoustic instruments such as guitar, piano, harp and strings with electronically-produced effects. As she puts it: “The hook I use in every song is ambient sounds; slamming doors, toilet seats, moving trains, the human breath, heartbeat, glass bottles, etc.”

After being brought up in Athens with traditional folk music, Anna Zed moved on to rigorous classical training, jazz guitar, heavy metal on a seven-string guitar (!) and, eventually, electronic music production.
